Dear Weatherperson, Thank you so much for listening to our pleas. The sun is out. Glorious sunshine. Blinding sunshine. Scorching heat. Parching heat. I can’t get them out of my head

I was definitely looking forward to the weekend – I was going to be away for 1 night (only) from my kids and the house and the mess and the crying and the squabbling and the telltale(ing) and everything else.
