I can’t believe that more than a year has passed since the children came back from from one afternoon and we were informed that schools would be closed until further notice. It began with 2 weeks and then steadily extended until the whole of the 2020-21 school year was online.  Online school worked well for the children – academically. Socially – it was a drag. I’ve always wanted to visit San Franscico – yes I know there are many places I’ve always wanted to visit. But San Francisco has been one at the top of my list (Bucket list, that is!) We recently visited the Night of Lights OC event and it was a great way to start the holiday season.  Night of Lights OC is a magical and immersive winter wonderland drive-thru experience at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa. From the safety of their own vehicles, guests are guided through a clearly defined mile-long course featuring over one million lights, themed holiday scenery, special effects such as snow flurries and bubbles, and animated light shows and tunnels synchronized to music through a car radio or smartphone.
