We recently visited the Night of Lights OC event and it was a great way to start the holiday season.
Night of Lights OC is a magical and immersive winter wonderland drive-thru experience at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa. From the safety of their own vehicles, guests are guided through a clearly defined mile-long course featuring over one million lights, themed holiday scenery, special effects such as snow flurries and bubbles, and animated light shows and tunnels synchronized to music through a car radio or smartphone.
It was a beautiful experience and to add to spirit of the season, I particularly enjoyed the music that tuned to the radio in the car. The children thoroughly enjoyed it. There was no one rushing us to drive through quickly and we drove through leisurely experiencing every bit of the drive through. It was a perfect event for the times since we didn’t have to get out of the car at all.
The icing on the cake was the picture that we got to take as a befitting souvenir. It was sent to my phone digitally in about an hour of visiting.
