Family day trip to Sea World San Diego

The children have been wanting to visit Sea World for some time now and I’m so glad we got to finally make it. San Diego is not far from where we are but we did set out early as we wanted to make the most of our day. Sea World opens at 10 am on the weekend and we were there just past that. We purchased premier parking which meant that we would be able to park in the first 6 rows of the car park. Parking is normally $25 for the day and we paid an extra $3 to …

A day out at the London Wetlands Centre with Robinsons

We have had a busy half-term but every bit has been enjoyable. On Wednesday, we headed off to the London Wetlands Centre for a day out with Robinsons. We were quite excited about the day as we had never visited before in spite of it being not far from home. We were at the event to learn the importance of drinking water and their #EnjoyMoreWater campaign. Something that’s pretty lame (as Jadyn says – for everything). I mean, who doesn’t know the importance of drinking water. Yes, we all do. But do we do it? No – at least I …

‘Pandamonium’ at Chessington World of Adventures

The kids never tire of Chessington World of Adventures. And I mean NEVER. So you can imagine the ‘Pandamonium’ when I gave them the new that they were invited to visit. They could quite easily move in and live there. To be honest, I’d probably want to do so myself. CWOA has something to please everyone and when we were sent an invite to their new Pandamonium event, the children could talk of nothing else. If you’ve been following my social media channels, you’ll already be aware of all the fun we had as I updated the streams with images …

A Fun Experience at Shrek’s Adventure London

We enjoyed watching all the Shrek films and Shrek and the little babies are a big hit in our home. Obviously when we had an opportunity to visit the newly opened attraction in London – Shrek’s Adventure, we jumped at the chance. Shrek’s Adventure is situated on the Southbank in the heart of London on the River Thames. It is right next to SeaLife and the London Eye. To get there either take the train or tube into Waterloo Station or the tube to Westminster. Both are about 5 mins walk away. Now for the experience. It’s a little difficult …

Jacintaz3 at Sky Studios at the O2: A Review

As a parent of 3 children who are bored through out the Summer vacation I am constantly looking for things to keep them busy without of course resorting to iPads. I also have to ensure that the places we choose are not very expensive as most places work out to be unaffordable with the entry charges alone. However, today’s experience was loads of fun, easy to get to and free to enter. I was really happy to be asked to review Sky Studios on behalf of NetMums as I had checked it up on the Internet and it looked like …

Beary Adventurous Days Out – with Barny

When I signed up to the Barny Little Adventures with BritMums, I really didn’t know what I was getting myself in for. The moment the children knew about the word ‘adventure’ they wanted just that – an adventure. A walk in the park would not do for them – they wanted the whole hog. After much thinking, we decided that it would be nice to visit Bodiam Castle – it should be adventurous enough! It was a lovely day and the drive to Bodiam took about an hour. Luckily we had some Barny treats to keep them busy on the …

Review – Panama Jack Suncare

With the sun shining brightly over the bank holiday weekend, we decided to make the most of it and visit the seaside. We had never been to Hayling Island so we decided to make a trip there. With the rise in the number of cases of skin cancer and early aging skin when exposed to the sun, I am always careful to apply sunscreen on the children when they are out in the sun for the day. It was a really hot day on Monday and it was great timing that the week before I received these wonderful Suncare products from …
