We were sent this beautiful cake from the lovely people at Willows Activity Farm and we didn’t have the heart to cut it at first. But we needed to celebrate Beatrix Potter’s Birthday, so we had to. And it was delicious. It’s time for you to celebrate too. Read on to find out.
2016 marks 150 years since the birth of beloved children’s author Beatrix Potter, who famously wrote the PETER RABBIT™ book series. To celebrate her birthday, Jacintaz3 has teamed up with Willows Activity Farm, based in St. Albans, to offer a chance to win a visit to the PETER RABBIT™ Adventure Playground which opened at the popular family attraction earlier this year.
Born on 28 July 1866, Beatrix Potter wrote 24 children’s books, including the world-famous Tale of Peter Rabbit. Now, her timeless characters are the stars of a hit animated TV series on CBeebies, developed by Silvergate Media for the next generation of fans.
At Willows, children can explore the world of Peter Rabbit – climbing through the Benjamin Bunny Treetop Adventure. You can also pick oversize radishes by the Mr. McGregor Garden Shed and make tea in the Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle Kitchen.
Peter Rabbit and Lily Bobtail are at Willows daily, meeting and greeting guests as well as staring in their own live shows! Fans will also love the Peter Rabbit themed birthday parties Willows offers for little ones.
