About 2 weeks back, I took the children straight from school to London to attend an event that they didn’t want to miss. I guess I didn’t want to miss it either as it was a Skylanders Event and we were going to be a part of the new Trap Team launch. Yay!!
That was one day I didn’t have dragging feet or moans that they were tired.
We entered the venue and the children were enthralled from the word go. We have not played Skylanders before but the children have been after me to get them some for a while now. This was the perfect opportunity to see how they liked them.
Ethan was hooked from the time he entered and played on several consoles trying out the new Skylanders. In fact, it is the first time that the Skylanders will be available on the iPad, Kindle Fire and Android. I will probably have to get the children these too.
In the new game, there are two ways of playing – you can play as usual with the Swap Force figures or you can trap the bad guys and use their powers. Awesome!!
We had a wonderful lunch/snacks served which the children thoroughly enjoyed.
They also enjoyed their Kaos cake pops.
There was face painting and I realised that one can never not have their face painted.
And then of course, Jadyn enjoyed reading the latest Skylanders news and once I get a link to the video, I will update this post.
In the meantime, if you wish to find out more, check out the website here
We can’t wait to have a play of it in our home.
