Cooking with Tefal Ingenio

I am a huge Tefal fan, as you must know.

We use a lot of their products at home 1) because I was part of the Tefal Innovation Panel and 2) because their products are really durable and perfect for any type of cooking.

This time I was invited to a cooking class at L’Atelier des Chefs in London to cook Indian cuisine and since we eat a lot of Indian food at home, I was very interested in trying out some new recipes.

We made Coriander Chutney, Tandoori Marinated Chicken Skewers, Karahi Okra and Potato Curry and Roti

The recipes were fairly easy and it took little or no time to prepare. We had all this ready in about 90 minutes. Would have loved a dessert too but I guess there wasn’t enough time for that one.

The meal was delicious and my favourite was the Karahi Okra – I loved the burst of colour and the flavours all came together really well.

If you are not familiar with Ingenio, here’s some more information about the range –

Launched in the UK in July 2013, the Ingenio concept is built around ingenious handles that attach and detach with just one click, allowing you to not only save space storing them in the cupboard, but to really maximise the use of your cookware through versatility. It allows you to transfer your cooking from the hob to the oven and then direct to the table – all in the same dish. Used in millions of homes across the world, Tefal Ingenio is available in three complete ranges (Induction, Enamel and Essential).

I LOVE the Ingenio range because the pans are perfect for smaller kitchens and save so much of space. I have a huge problems with pans with handles now. Also, the induction range means you can cook on low heat and the heat is dispersed. And, they are super easy to clean.

I had a lovely afternoon  and came away with some new recipes to try that I am going to try out this weekend so watch this space. I’ve added the links to each recipe above in case you may want to try them yourself.
