The girls have had long beautiful hair which looked lovely but was high maintenance. The washing, conditioning routine meant a good part of the evening and weekend was spent on this. Next Saturday, we’re headed to a rather unique event. My two girls are going to be donating their hair for the Little Princess Trust. So this – is going to take a good cut. Yesterday, Jadyn and I set off for our first ever Race for Life event. You must have read my previous posts about our training (if any) and how we were preparing as well as why we were running. We’re normally home by 3.30 as the school is a short walk from the house. The children change out of their school clothes, have a quick snack and then settle down to play. I sometimes join them before I head off to cook dinner and they do some schoolwork. 4 pm – This is our ‘play’ hour. I encourage the children to play together and have fun. And do we have fun.
