by

If you have little ones at home, I am sure you are well versed with the Goodnight Song on CBeebies with Squidge. Well, now little ones don’t have to wait for the end of the day to listen to the song and sing along – they can have their very own Squidge at home. Squidge is the adorable little logo that you see bouncing around the screen often on the CBeebies channel. This time though, he is wearing a nightcap. 🙂 We were sent this Sweet Dreams with Squidge plush toy to review and the children (all 3 of them) …

Magical Playtime with the Ben and Holly Thistle Castle Playset

by

Elves and fairies have always been exciting to children. Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom is a popular television series that airs on Nick Jr. The children love watching it and though Jadyn has outgrown it (somewhat) she still watches it with the others. I must confess I do enjoy watching it with the children too. To have our very own Thistle Castle to play with is magical indeed. Ben and Holly Thistle Castle Playset from Character comes with a few accessories – a Holly figure, a bed for Holly and a treasure chest. The bed has an imprint of Holly …

Toot Toot Drivers Police Station from VTech – A Review

by

Whenever Aeryn would see the VTech Toot Toot Drivers advertisement on telly, she would draw my attention to it. So it is no surprise that she went absolutely crazy when one arrived home for me to review. She enjoys playing with it and there are a few things that I really like about the toy that I thought I would share with you. Bright Colours – The colours are bright and very attractive to children. It also helps to teach children colours. Engaging – The toy is interactive and the child has to perform certain actions for the car to …

Digimon Fusion Toys from Bandai – A Review

by

My son has opened up so many vistas of my world. I now know so much about Ben10, Transformers, Power Rangers and lately Digimon. Obviously, any toy that makes action sounds and that you can fight with is welcomed in our house. If the toy can be taken apart and built over – it is more than welcome. Digimon Fusion is the new range of toys from Bandai. We were sent these two products to review …

Is it a rocking horse? Is it an alligator? No, it’s a rocking alligator. This lovely little rocking alligator from Plan Toys is ideal for little ones. Made from good quality wood, it is something that will keep little ones entertained for days on end. The set up – It was easy to set up and just needs one person to do it. The instructions are clear and it took about 20 minutes to get it up and rocking. While I was doing so, I had an opportunity to look at it up close and personal and found it to be …

An Entirely Magical Build-A-Bear Workshop Experience

by

Have you ever been to a Build-A-Bear Workshop store? It’s the one where the children’s feet always drag while passing. I am almost inclined to drag my feet too – everything looks so lovely. Well, on Friday last, Ethan’s 5th birthday, none of us had to drag our feet but we walked right in. Yes, we were given an opportunity to review the build-a-bear experience. Now, if you have ever been inside a store, you will realise that it is a magical place. It kind of holds you captive for about 2 hours and does not let you go, simply …

Review – Shelby’s Snack Shack Game

by

I was sent Shelby’s Snack Shack (a bit of a tongue twister there and we had a lot of fun practising saying that so laughter from the start) to review from Learning Resources.   It is a sort of board game aimed at children aged 4+ The children were very excited to receive it as they love dogs. The game consists of –          A tweezer in the shape of a dog, Shelby –          A packet of small bones (which are really cute) –          4 different coloured bowls (to keep the bones) –          A board with 2 spinners The game is …
