Ben and Holly Elf Treehouse – Review

by

Ben and Holly on Nick Jr. is still very popular in our home. Aeryn loves watching it and Ethan and Jadyn do too but pretend it’s too ‘baby-ish’. We were sent a Ben and Holly Elf Treehouse to review. The playset is from Character and if you are familiar with this brand you know that their products are sturdy and well designed and perfect for little ones. The Elf treehouse stands about 32 cm tall and has plenty of features to keep your little one occupied. There is a woodpecker that knocks on the tree, a trapdoor to the toy …

Chill Factor Squeeze Cup Slushy Maker Tutti Fruity: Review

by

I can’t believe we are well into March. Hopefully the weather is going to get better and we shall soon be slurping smoothies and slushies! Well, to be honest, we already are. I had reviewed a Chill Factor Slushy Maker last year but I got a chance to review another this year and I quite like the change in design. The products are out in new attractive colours and have a cool image on the front. The slushy maker works so – Remove the lid of the slushy maker and place it in the freezer (preferably upright) Although, I have …

Hide-and-Seek Holly Review

by

Aeryn is a huge Ben and Holly fan. We had reviewed a few toys from the collection – Thistle Castle play set and Magical Playground playsets. This time we were sent a Holly plush to review. But this is no ordinary Holly – it’s a Hide and Seek Holly from Character. The toy consists of a Holly Plush and a remote. What you need to do is hide the Holly plush and then go and look for her with remote in hand. As you press the button on the remote, you’ll be told if you are ‘hot’ or cold’.   If …

Weebledown Farm, Mill and Barn Review

by

The children have been singing ‘Weeble wobble but we don’t fall down’ over the Christmas season and I have to admit that it is something that sticks in your brain. They were very excited to get the Weebledown Farm Mill and Barn to review. Now, they may seem a little old for this but when added to a farm set (no one is too old for a farm set), it’s perfect. The Farm comes with an exclusive Rusty the rooster Weeble which is quite adorable. The mill actually spins and all you need do is push down the milk churn. …

Shimmer ‘n’ Sparkle in Your Own Handmade Scarf with Cra-Z-Knitz: A Review

by

I always loved knitting – it was great to see my work getting longer and taking form. Jadyn  was also keen to begin knitting and I tried to teach her once but obviously I must be a bad teacher as she gave up quite easily. On being asked to review the Shimmer and Sparkle Cra-Z-Knit Ultimate Design Station from Character, I was thrilled. I had looked at it on the internet and it looked so easy to do and so much fun too. Basically, I could not wait to try it out myself. The Cra-Z-Knit Ultimate Design Studio has all …

Ben and Holly Magical Playground Playsets – A Review

by

I recently review the Ben and Holly Thistle Castle Playset and as you would know it was a big hit. I was then sent these adorable playground playsets from the same range from Character. Ben and Holly Magical Playground Playset – Slide with Holly Ben and Holly Magical Playground Playset  – Roundabout with Holly Now, if you notice both the playsets have something ‘magical’ about them – once you start playing with them, you can’t stop! The Slide is really sweet. It is really a leaf for Holly to slide down. I love the bright yellow flower beside it. The …

Magical Playtime with the Ben and Holly Thistle Castle Playset

by

Elves and fairies have always been exciting to children. Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom is a popular television series that airs on Nick Jr. The children love watching it and though Jadyn has outgrown it (somewhat) she still watches it with the others. I must confess I do enjoy watching it with the children too. To have our very own Thistle Castle to play with is magical indeed. Ben and Holly Thistle Castle Playset from Character comes with a few accessories – a Holly figure, a bed for Holly and a treasure chest. The bed has an imprint of Holly …
