We’ve been watching Something Special for sometime now – ever since Jadyn was little and we still do as Aeryn likes watching it too.   We were recently sent a copy of the Something Special Interactive magazine and Aeryn enjoyed this magazine quite a bit. The Furchester Hotel is a popular series on CBeebies. It is about a ‘half star’ hotel owned by monsters – the Furchester Fuzz family. The family consists of Funella, Furgus and Phoebe and together with Elmo and Cookie Monster, they solve the problems of the guests making for a very entertaining show. What is it with children and monsters? You would think they would be afraid of them. But the love them instead. At least mine do. Abney and Teal Magazine for Pre-Schoolers : A Review

The children love magazines and we do get quite a few of them but when we were asked to try out the new Abney and Teal magazine, we accepted for a number of reasons. First of all, we were going to be among the first to have a look at it before it’s release. Secondly, we love Abney and Teal on CBeebies. And lastly, Aeryn loves the stickers and toys that usually accompany a magazine.
