Day 4 of the challenge and we are getting really creative in the kitchen – we are combining flavours and ingredients that we never thought of using in sandwiches and the results have been very pleasing.
Today we made a wrap with chicken, sweetcorn and strawberries. And it was so delicious and the main thing so easy to make.
When I make packed lunches in the morning, time of always the essense so making things quickly are of primary importance. While completing the challenge, I realised that making delicious wraps and sandwiches in the kitchen can be tasty without taking loads of time.
For this delicious chicken, sweetcorn and strawberry wrap, you need
- Roast chicken
- 4 strawberries sliced/chopped
- A can of sweetcorn
- Lettuce – finely sliced
- Leerdammer Toastie Cheese Slices
- Sour Cream
Method –
Spread the sour cream on the tortilla.
Add the cheese and the chicken.
Top with sweetcorn, strawberries and lettuce.
Season with pepper and salt.
Fold and pop in the microwave for 1 minute.
