Choose a fabric flower and position it on the flower making unit. You can add another smaller flower and a plastic flower depending on how you want it to look.
Add the stems to each flower
Use the picker to remove the daisy from the unit
Add a bead to the stem beneath the daisy and attach the stem using the ‘eye’ to the yellow part of the unit so it lies horizontally. Add the next stem vertically.
Use the picker to remove the two daisies and you have the first bit of your chain.
Repeat the process of adding the flowers till you have your desired length to either make a bracelet, a little necklace or wreathe for your head.
Join the two ends of the chain with the clip.
There – you have it – a pretty daisy chain that does not wilt. 🙂 Doesn’t that look delightful?
The set is ideal for imaginative play and dressing up. Great for costumes to add that little bit extra. And more importantly, just right for all the days in half term that you are stuck indoors as you can try creating and recreating many different designs.
The set is of It also has this handy box for the bits and pieces to be stored.
The set is suitable for children aged 4+. Jadyn is 9 and absolutely loves it. She likes the fact that you don’t have to wait to pick daisies.
There is something so relaxing about making daisy chains that I am sure grown ups would just love to help out too. I know I had a pretty fun time making them…er…helping Jadyn.
