Talking about the Manchester Attack with the Children

The Manchester attack has left a lasting impression on our minds but more importantly the minds of our children. An attack that took place at a concert – where people – young people, had gone to enjoy the performance of their favourite pop star. An attack that killed 22 and left more than 60 injured. An attack that killed a girl as young as 8. An attacked that left me shocked and saddened. My heart goes out to the families of the lives that were lost. Hasta Mañana, Mum…

Watching Mamma Mia! invoked so many feelings in me – happiness, nostalgia and most of all – sadness.
