I love the winter as much as I hate it! I love snow and the idea of a white Christmas. Today’s Word is ‘Spooky’ With Halloween almost upon us, we thought it a good idea to link up spookily! A short history about Halloween or All Hallows Eve – a celebration of all things spooky before the feast of All Saints on 1st November and all Souls’ Day on 2nd November. The earliest we know of it is 1745 and it has Christian significance. Now Halloween is celebrated by carving pumpkins into Jack-o-lanterns, dressing up in fancy dress and going trick-or-treating and decorating.
