Children seem obsessed by super heroes – my son for one!
It would be nice to teach them that some super heroes are closer than they think. Being a super hero does involve having super powers, but there are some heroes who manage to make the world a better place without using any super powers.
I am really happy to be associated with Build-A-Bear Workshop as they have so many wonderful ways of empowering children.
This recent venture is heroic indeed as they launch their Huggable Hero campaign which will see two youngsters receive a scholarship of £3000 as well as £1500 to give to the charity of their choice.
If you know of someone who is a hero head over here to nominate them.
