We recently got an opportunity to review some Barbie products from Mattel. I grew up with Barbie and my girls too are Barbie fans. Well, they love dolls. Period.
We were sent Barbie Cuddle and Feed Tawny Horse to review and the girls were quite delighted when it arrived.
I was pleasantly surprised by the size as I expected it to be smaller. However, the horse is a nice size. It comes with some accessories – a brush, hay, carrots and a bucket. There is also a doll included.
The horse is a tawny colour and comes complete with a saddle and reins.
The horse can be played with alone as if you push on the back of the saddle its head moves downward to ‘eat’ the hay. Push down on the front of the saddle and it will nuzzle your hand (or Barbie’s)
It has a lovely mane and tail that can be brushed with the little brush.
Barbie comes dressed in riding boots and a riding hat. She does look rather lovely.
Barbie can ‘ride’ the horse as there is an attachment that holds Barbie on the horse. Barbie does not stand alone but again there is an attachment which attaches to her waist and allows her to stand and feed Tawny horse.
The toy is ideal for pretend and imaginative play in children.
The set retails at £42.99 and is perfect for Christmas. I can definitely see this on many little girl’s lists. It is suitable for children aged 3 years and over.
