I can’t believe it’s almost Easter. The children are looking forward to Easter eggs and bunnies.
I love this time of the year. Spring has sprung (well, hopefully it has), the clocks have gone forward and that means we can look forward to much more outdoor fun.
The leaves are slowly appearing on the trees. I love to see the blossom trees with the cherry blossoms on them.
It is the perfect time to go for lovely walks and admire nature.
We’ve visited quite a few National Trust places last year and enjoyed walking around and visiting those gorgeous homes with beautiful paintings.
This week there is a sweeter reason to visit one of the 300 properties where 250,000+ Eggheads are ready and waiting for families to explore these adventurous trails.
21.5 tonnes of chocolate eggs have been delivered to these sites ahead of the Annual Cadburys Eggsplorers Easter Egg Trails which take place over 3rd – 6th April.
It must have been tough trying to hide these eggs but I’m told that temporary locations include the inside of pianos, grandfather clocks, vases and bookcases.
We will definitely be going to one of the locations to join one of these trails and hope to come across many eggs. (There can never be too much chocolate!!)
